Christopher J. Hegarty

Christopher Hegarty is an international entrepreneur, business advisor, management consultant, and alternative medicine researcher/journalist, whose clients include over 400 of the Fortune 500 companies, numerous professional associations, governments, and many other organizations in 36 countries.

He has served as contributing editor for Alternative Medicine Magazine and the International Journal of Healing and Caring, is an associate producer of alternative health programs for Scizone Radio Group, A Better World TV, and Associated Producers, Inc., and is on the international advisory committee of the National Foundation for Alternative Medicine. He also served as Chairman of the Bio-energy Field Foundation and as Special Advisor to the Academy of Parapsychology and Medicine, the organization that sponsored the first Chinese acupuncture symposium held in the United States.

Additionally, Christopher was a founding member of a number of organizations, including an international mutual fund management firm, a national securities firm, the National Center for Financial Education, the College for Financial Planning, the Institute of Exceptional Performance, the National Speakers Association, the International Center for Life Improvement, and the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS).

As a consultant/advisor, he has had a variety of assignments, including: strategic consultant at Stanford Research Institute (SRI), member of the President's Council, American Institute of Management, advisor to the Governor of California, national judge of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Chip Enterprise Award, regent of the College for Financial Planning, director of the International Association for Financial Planning and contributing editor for Financial Planning Magazine. He is Chairman Emeritus of the National Center for Financial Education.

As an international award-winning public speaker he has received a number of awards. The National Speakers Association elected him to the Speakers Hall of Fame, and The International Platform Association and the International Association for Financial Planning selected him as Speaker of the Year.

A best selling author, his books include 7 Secrets of Exceptional Leadership, How to Manage Your Boss, The New Rules: Managing Your Future, Financial Planning for CEOs, Successful Stress Strategies, and Tyranny of the Familiar.

He is also listed in Who's Who in the World and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, as well as being a Major in the National Chaplains Corps and Legion of Honor award recipient from the National Chaplains Association. He holds a Doctorate in Management from the Creative Development Institute and a Doctorate in Divinity from the American Institute of Holistic Theology.
